Rasters, photos, point clouds and models
- Rasters can be orthoimages or digital surface DEM/DSM models (GeoTIFF, JPG+JGW, PNG+PGW, JP2,…)
- Photos can be geolocated planar photos or 360° panoramas with metadata (equirectangular .jpg + .csv orientations)
- point clouds can be created by photogrammetry or using SLAM, mobile, airborne or terrestrial/stationary collected point clouds (.las, .laz or .E57). We also support other point clouds, e.g. bathymetric point clouds, as long as they are in support formats.
- Models: LandXML surfaces, IFC models, DWG / DXF / DGN drawings
No. Our customers capture and process their own drone data, or use subcontractors for that. We concentrate on handling and streaming data as a web services to all necessary project stakeholders. Although, we work closely with international drone and laser scanning service providers and can offer drone and laser scanning services on request.
Customers can also use Pointscen Drone Maps for processing drone photos into orthophotos and surface models.
Yes! Pointscene has a separate photogrammetric processing for drone captured raw photos, if the drone has RTK. Pointscene Drone Maps doesn’t support GCP (Ground Control Points) and therefore is not suitable for non RTK drone images.
As the processing is a separately tool, our customers can choose to use Pointscene or other processing solutions on the market, and still get the other benefits Pointscene provides!
Yes! Upload design files (DWG, DXF and DGN) to Pointscene and they will be automatically added to the map. Note that they are raster images after processing, so no snapping to features or clicking for attribute data.
Yes!
Our 3D viewer supports 3D designs like IFC and LandXML together with point clouds. We can set up a project for you as soon as you contact us at support@pointscene.com
All data our customers upload is stored inside the EU in a Google Cloud Platform (in Belgium).
